Skilled Trade Spotlight: Welders

At Demex we know that being highly skilled in our trades is critical to building sustainable projects for our customers. We employ certified welders and work with underwater welders on a regular basis.

Our welders are experienced in marine structures and vessels. In our fabrication shop, we build a dozen or more steel cribs a season, our welders are always up to the task of creating something that will stand up to Lake Erie and her fury.

They are also responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of barges, a task they do not take lightly. These welds are more than just permanently joining metal, they are welds that are responsible for keeping their colleagues safe on the water.
